good to know.

I had my 6 week check up at the OB yesterday. She said I only gained 13 pounds with Madelynn. I thought it was 19. Whatever. Anyway, I've lost 22. YAY! GO ME! Now if I could just stay motivated to lose more. I'd at least like to get back to the weight I was when I got married. 25 pounds to go.

Lance had a follow up on his finger. It looks pretty normal. It's still a little red but the doctor said he doesn't think there's anymore infection in there, which is good.

A gross story:
I started smelling something dead in my room. Lance started looking around for the culprit. I had a dead rat in my air vent. The same one Momma said she heard sqeeking in while she was here. I think she murdered it. She stuck a Wheat Thin over by the vent and it must've gotten stuck in there trying to get to it. At least I know they can't get in MY room. GROSS!

5 folks had something to say.:

I really hope and pray that something horrible doesn't happen someday because no one listens or believes what I say. Lance tried to show Caetie that I was hearing the blinds clicking together and I KNEW THAT WASN'T IT. I am telling you if you have 2 rats you have a HOST and PLEASE get aggressive before one of the children are sick or injured. It's not a problem you can be slack about.

Well good to read you have lost weight. That is always a good thing,GO ERIKA!!I am glad Lance spider bite is getting much better.

It is the time of year for the field mice and rats to pop in for a visit. The field behind us brings them in every fall/winter,So far we have not seen or heard any,but they will be here soon I am sure...And the good part of that is,I will be moved by then and will not have to worry about them.hehe!

Way to go with the weight loss...but sorry you have the rat issue going. I nearly jump out of my skin when I see a mouse...I would have a full blown heart-attack if I knew a rat was around. But Valarie is right...it's that time of year when they start wanting in a warmer place. Hope Lance gets rid of it soooooon.
