Friday - We got a late start because Lance had a prior committment at work so we headed out a little after 4 pm. We made it THROUGH Atlanta okay but coming out on the other side wasn's so great. We sat in HORRIBLE rain and traffic for probably an hour. I think we went 10 miles in that hour. So, the GPS arrival time kept going up and up. I've decided I don't like the GPS cause I obsessively look up at it to see what it's saying. HAHA. The 3 hour trip took us 4 1/2. UGH! When we were about an hour away, we hit SLEET. It was some of the hardest sleet I've ever seen. The Lord kept us safe though. After we got into our room, I called Momma and she met us at Waffle House. Gag, I know. I never liked eating at Waffle House until I moved to Macon. After sitting in that particular Waffle House, I have decided I don't like TENNESSEE Waffle Houses in particular. They are SO nasty. I've never been in a nasty Waffle House in Macon. It's not my favorite place to eat but they do have good waffles!
Saturday - We woke up to SNOW! Woohoo! I was SO excited to see snow. Not for myself but for Kailee. She's seen it before but she was too little to remember. She went outside and ran around in it and Lance built her a mini-snowman. :) After loading up the car and going through a drive thru for breakfast, we headed to service. Both services were really good. It kind of felt wierd being there because it's been so long since we've actually been in a REAL service. I think the highlight of my trip was getting to talk with Annette (Sutton). I feel a special bond with her and it was SO good to see her after sooooo looooooooooong. Annette, I'm praying I get to see you at the assembly! We need to spend more time together!
The trip back home was sooooooo much more pleasant. The weather was good and there wasn't any traffic. Kailee & Madelynn even slept for part of the trip so it was peaceful.
I've spent the last couple of nights trying to recoop from our whirlwind trip but I haven't had much luck. I haven't been sleeping well and by the time I do get to sleep, I have to get up a little while later. So I've been dragging through the day.
Overall, it was a good trip and nice to be in the fellowship.
Something for y'all to pray about:
We are preparing the house to put on the market in June. Lance has really gotten alot of work done here lately to be able to do so. With the housing market like it is, PLEASE start praying that this will be a smooth process. I know that there are people out there still looking for homes so PRAY that someone stumbles upon this one and is interested. I wonna get outta this house! Haha! Seriously though - we want something NEW - something that needs to be maintained, not completely remodeled. No more renovation homes!
It's midnight now and I'm still awake.
Pray I can get some sleep and feel rested.
Nite Everyone!

Erika, I just love you!
I enjoy spending time with you!
The girls are so pretty and you are very good with them.
Come see me!
Wow, moving again?! You are brave. BLECH! I will pray though.
we only had plans to live here for a year to begin with. this is a renovation home to make money off of. i feel like im constantly living in a construction zone. i HATE moving but it needs to be done sometimes.
