I'm overdue for a new post. A post longer than a paragraph anyway.
Let's see how far back I can remember.
A week ago Sunday, I got my Mother's Day present. I was looking through the Sunday sale ads and stumbled upon something that interested me. A new camera! I know, I know. I just got a nice one for my anniversary. A ridiculously expensive one. BUT I don't always carry it with me because of ths size so when I saw THIS camera, I wanted to get it because it's tiny and perfect for carrying with me all the time. Ever since I bought it, it's been with me and I've taken alot of random photos that normally I wouldn't catch because I didn't have a camera with me.
As you all know, I had been sick for about a week with a horrible sinus infection/cold/ whatever. I took a round of anti-biotics and about the time I was getting over it, Kailee got sick. GRRRRRR! When we took Madelynn to the doctor, Kailee played with some of the toys and although they have a well room for kids who aren't sick, you just never know what kind of germs are creeping around a doctor's office. So whatever Kailee caught, she passed to the rest of us. Remind me to take airborne next time one of my kids start coughing!
Kailee is finally getting over. She doesn't sound quite as congested when she coughs. I think I'm on the upside of it. Madelynn is going through the coughing/running nose stage but she seems to feel okay. The first couple of nights of her being sick, she was up every hour but now she is back to sleeping all night. Lance has been coughing but he seems to be doing better too. I'll be glad when this bug is gone.
This past Friday, Lance took off work early and we went to eat Japanese for lunch - my request. Saturday was spent being sick. If we did anything besides that, it's a blur. haha! I do remember buying 2 patio chairs and a table some time during the past week but I don't remember what day. They are really comfy chairs too! They were the last set at Lowe's so they were on clearace. YAY!
My Mother's Day started extra early. I was up at 430am watching the weather. 6am, the sirens went off. I grabbed the kids and we headed to the basement. We got there just in time. After sitting down there about 15 minutes, we headed back upstairs. We had no electricity so Lance hooked up the generator. After awhile, we decided to go find somewhere open for breakfast. We were surprised by all the damage around. We made sure we took our cameras with us. We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed out on a storm damage adventure. There were alot of times we had to turn around and find alternate routes due to all the trees and power lines that were down. Most of the street lights were out and there was debris everywhere. It definitely looked like a war zone. Police were telling everyone to stay home which didn't happen and there was an 8pm curfew last night. When we came back from our adventure, our electricity was back on. We were VERY lucky. Most people will be without electricity until tomorrow night. Lance has no electricity at his work. He had to take a bunch of flashlights to the nurses last night because of no lights. Anyway, enough about all that. You get the idea. I took pictures and I'll post some after this post.
Momma is on her way down here as we speak. Ever since Madelynn was born, I have had some really wierd spells. I feel like I'm having seizures. I know that may sound crazy but seriously. Not the convulsing kind but the kind where you feel like your eyes are rolling back in your head and you're heading off to another world but you never quite make it there. My lips and tongue tingle alot and my heart feels like it's dropping. It's soooooo much worse when I haven't had enough rest. Like I need another ailment! I guess I'll be trying to get into the doctor ASAP and see if she'll refer me to a neurologist. Momma will be here to keep the kids for me. THANKS MOM!
I know this is really late but yesterday was crazy so HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOMMA! I did speak to her several times yesterday.
Okay, that's enough for now. Here come the pictures...

2 folks had something to say.:
Wow...bless your heart! We will be praying. Let us know when you hear something from the doctor.
Sounds like Toby. Maybe it is hereditary. Toby only has problems when he is tired or hasn't had enough sleep.
