My Sister In Law & Politics

My sister in law, Lora, is in surgery this morning. She had been having alot of stomach pains so she went into the doctor and found out she has gallstones. They are removing her gallbladder this morning so please be in prayer for her.

Nothing much going on around here lately.

I am disappointed about the election but not surprised. The front page of our paper was titled 'Let's stir a new spirit.' Or something to that effect. Boy, america has no idea what kind of spirit they're stirring. I just don't understand how people are so blind. AND before anyone decides to leave a comment bashing me for my opinion on the matter, think again because this is my blog and I can say whatever I am feeling - which is the point in having a blog, right? So anyway...

I don't understand why people are saying he is the first african american president. He isn't. He is bi-racial. And am I the only one that thinks it's creepy that he's muslim? His pastor said 'GD america!' The muslims want americans dead. HELLO PEOPLE?!

I'm also having an issue with 'spreading the wealth around'. If someone is wealthy, then they earned that. I am not interested in someone spreading my money around to those who are too lazy to do something better for themselves. I am not referring to those that can't help their circumstances but I am referring to those who think we owe them something. We all have the ability to better ourselves. ALL OF US. If I want to share my money then let ME choose that, not someone else. Obama has a brother in another country that lives off a very small amount of money a month. He has done nothing for that brother. Why is he not spreading HIS wealth?

Something else... he supports late term abortion. SICKENING. There is a video on the internet from a nurse that worked in a hospital that allowed women to come in, have their labor induced prematurely and they would put these preemies in a room with soiled linens, etc and let them lay there and die. Obama had the chance to vote against such acts and yet he chose THREE times not to do so. I also heard him say that if his children 'make a mistake' he doesn't want them punished with a baby. If they 'make a mistake' then they need to take responsiblity for their actions. A new life is not something that can just be tossed aside like a piece of garbage. Well, maybe it can but it's MURDER. At least give these children a chance and put them up for adoption.

Ugh! People are nuts. NUTS.

Okay, I'm done with all that. It's over with. I'm going to make sure that I continue to prepare myself for heaven. Each day that passes is one day closer to the Lord coming back. Don't be caught off guard!
